Big steps for the business!
A cow spotting on a walk near our home.
This month held some exciting change for Sauced & Tossed and our family! After much consideration and prayer, we have decided to rent a space in a building close by to serve as our "prep kitchen" instead of continuing to use our personal kitchen for the business. Although there were some perks to having our work in our home, this move allows us to expand our selling hours, expand our menu, and hire another full-time employee, bringing us a few steps closer to functioning according to the requirements of our business visa! It has already been a blessing to our family as well, allowing for more of a work/life balance. And thankfully, the new kitchen space is only a short walk from our home, so the girls and I still stop by regularly. :)
The highlight of this past month was having "Grandpa and Grandma" (Ryan's parents) here visiting us! It was so sweet to spend time together, and the timing of their trip could hardly have been better as they were a huge help in moving into the new kitchen and re-organizing our personal kitchen. I don't know how we would have done it without them here! We are always thankful when friends and family are able to make the trip over here and we get time together in person. We know that is a privilege, and it means so much to us!
Some sweet friends at church.
An exciting papaya discovery on a walk.
Cold season has come to Thailand, which is always fun around the holidays! Our highs during the day are still in the 80s, but at night it can drop down into the 50s at times.
PRAISES & PRAYER REQUESTS:
- praise the Father for providing this new prep kitchen for us and giving us clarity to continue investing in Sauced & Tossed.
- please pray that our lives and business/ministry would be used by the Lord to glorify Him here in Udon Thani. Pray for boldness and burden to share the gospel with the lost we encounter every day.
- praise the Lord for the gift of family and the ability to spend time together, even on the other side of the world!
"Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His steadfast love endures forever." (1 Chronicles 16:34)
