Hot season happenings.

The month of April is the hottest month of the year in Thailand! With daytime temperatures reaching over 100 degrees, April is also the month of Thailand's biggest holiday: a nation-wide water festival called "Songkran." This involves people of all ages wearing bright floral shirts, patting flour on each other's faces, and having a giant water fight over the course of a few days.

It was such a pleasure to have Ryan's sister and brother-in-law come to visit us this month as well! It is always a treat to have time with family in person, and to enjoy experiencing Thailand with those who come to visit. Thank you guys so much for making the trip and for blessing us with time together! 💖

The market continues to provide plenty of amazing gospel opportunities and connections with people. This month, we were able to connect with a young boy named "O" who works at the market. He is 16 years old and is working instead of going to school because his family can't afford to send him. He accepted a tract about Jesus one day after conversation with Ryan and our employee, P'Sai. The next day, he came back asking if they had anything else he could read about Jesus and said he had been reading the tract and looking things up about God online. We are encouraged by his openness and hunger spiritually and would love it if you would join us in praying that his eyes would be opened to the truth of the gospel and that he would be saved! O is pictured below.

One of our employees, Boi, and his girlfriend, Tungnun, also came to church with us this past month. They were impressed with how different it was than going to the temple and engaged in some gospel conversations after church as well. Praising the Lord for these opportunities!

PRAISES & PRAYER REQUESTS:

- pray for the Spirit's work in O, Boi, and Tungnun, and for continued opportunities to share about Christ with them.

- praise God for His graciousness in providing open doors for the gospel here.

- pray for grace and wisdom in running the business as we navigate the joys and challenges of small business owning.

"My faith rests not in what I am, or shall be, or feel, or know, but in what Christ is, in what He has done, and in what He is doing for me." (Charles Spurgeon)
