Launching Sauced & Tossed.
Hey, friends! The long awaited launch of our business, Sauced & Tossed, is finally here! This coming Monday will be our first day selling out of our food truck in one of the local markets, so we wanted to take this opportunity to talk a little more about our business and what our vision is for Sauced & Tossed.
Because of this, selling in local markets is a great opportunity to access the heart of this community, as we will be rubbing shoulders with our employees, fellow vendors, and customers day in and day out. In a country with only about 1% Christians, we see Sauced & Tossed as a strategic way to evangelize and disciple, as it enables us to meet the Thai people where they are.
We will be selling American style buffalo wings and sides from our food truck. We have been sampling our recipes and getting feedback from Thai contacts and friends for a few months now, which has shaped our menu. The buffalo wing and many of our sauces and sides are totally new to the Thai palette, so we are excited to introduce a new offering at the local markets!
Even Nova has some "Sauced & Tossed" gear. :)
Our food truck was custom made and delivered to us this month! It felt surreal to get inside of it for the first time and see the plans and dreams from the past several months begin to materialize.
After getting our food truck, we have been busy with getting it set up for business, interviewing potential employees, and finishing up all the other little details and loose ends that need tied before we can officially start selling! It has been an exciting and full few weeks.

For those who don't know, we went through a BAM (business as missions) program this past year. They were so helpful in mentoring us and helped us to understand the "quadruple bottom line" of BAM and build our business model off of that.
The quadruple bottom line:
1. To be profitable and sustainable.
2. To create quality jobs.
3. To make disciples.
4. To steward our resources well.
There's a lot more that could be said, but that is a brief overview of where we are at with Sauced & Tossed! We feel thankful, hopeful, excited, and nervous to finally be launching. But we are looking forward to seeing how God will lead in our business, and our desire is that He would be glorified through it.
PRAISES & PRAYER REQUESTS:
- praise God for His tender and faithful guidance in our lives, bringing us to this point, and providing each step of the way.
- pray for the hearts of the employees, fellow vendors, and customers that we will be interacting with through this business. Pray for opportunities to share the gospel, and open hearts to receive.
- pray for the success of Sauced & Tossed, financially, relationally, and spiritually.
- pray for extra grace for the three of us, as we deal with the pressures of this busy season of life.
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us." (2 Corinthians 4:7)
How exciting! Thanks for the update :) Praying!
