Reflections from quarantine.

Hello from Thailand! We are still in awe of the goodness and faithfulness of God in bringing us here.

We are in the final stretch of our 2-week quarantine in a hotel, and we are definitely looking forward to "freedom!" ;) On Monday morning, we will head to Mueang Lopburi where we will begin our language and culture training that week.

These past two weeks have provided time for us to spend in reflection, conversation, and prayer over the unbelievable gift of the gospel, and the task that stands before the church. That being said, our time in this hotel room has not been without attacks from the enemy. As experienced in the states, Satan is not bound to location, and he is constantly seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. We are thankful that we have two small balconies in our hotel to stand on and gaze out over the greater Bangkok area. We can see several spirit houses and Buddhist temples from our viewpoint on the 10th floor. The weight of the lostness of this city feels intense at times. Join us in praying for open hearts and ears to the message of salvation in Christ alone!

  1. Wow! Seeing the lostness of Bangkok would probably be quite overwhelming!
