Humbled by grace.
It is truly humbling to see the many, many ways that God's grace has been manifest recently. Here are just a few of the ways we see Him working:
- We are fully supported! Thanks to the generosity of those He has placed in our life, we have raised the financial support that we were hoping for to see us through the end of language school. We are totally in awe of the way God has provided this, and want to say a heartfelt "thank you" to all of you. You have blessed us and been the expression of the love and provision of the Father to us. We are blessed by you.
- We may be able to stay at the language school for a full year. This is not something that can be guaranteed, but we were just told that there is a possibility we could stay in Lopburi for a few extra months, which would be so helpful in getting a start on the Thai language! This will depend on how much space and capacity for students the language school has as the year progresses, but it is an exciting possibility.
- We have been given sweet experiences with friends and family over the past few weeks. The past few weeks have held two weddings, vacations with both of our families, several coffee dates, shared meals, and sweet conversations with friends and family. We feel so privileged to enjoy this season of shared experiences with those who God has placed in our lives. What a gift to have relationships that are difficult to leave!
- We have been able to sell a good bit of our furniture and belongings as we prepare for the move. This is just another way that we see God leading the way and taking care of us. He is such a good Father. However, this means that we are "making do" in some ways, like bringing our patio furniture inside to eat on for the past few weeks since we sold our dining room table! It's all part of the adventure. ;)
These verses have been a source of joy recently. His steadfast love meets us every morning, and even unto evening His faithfulness prevails. We serve a God worthy of praise.
This whole thing just makes me smile! Hugging you both with my prayers and praising God for each of you!
