One step at a time.

"Should nothing of our efforts stand,

No legacy survive,

Unless the Lord does raise the house,

In vain its builders strive." 

God has been so faithful in directing our steps as we prepare to move! Acquiring a visa has seemed like a daunting task to us since the beginning of our moving process, and the pandemic brought additional complications. But God has graciously answered prayers in this area, and provided two very helpful contacts for us in navigating the whole visa scene! Nothing can be guaranteed at this point, but it is looking very hopeful that we will have visa solutions to see us through language school. We are thankful and humbled by God's loving involvement in our lives yet again. Thank you for joining us in praying for this!

In other exciting news, we have tickets bought! We will be flying out of Georgia on July 16. We will have layovers in Germany and Austria, and then will land in Bangkok 28 hours later! There is a required 14-day quarantine at a nationally recognized quarantine facility upon arrival in Bangkok, so we will have two weeks to rest, adjust to the time difference, and prepare to begin language acquisition!

As far as support raising goes, we are so thankful for all of you who have supported us financially and in prayer. We have been so blessed by you! At this point, we are roughly $1000 shy of our monthly goal of around $2800. However, we have exceeded our one-time donations, and these can be used to help cover our monthly expenses if needed. Thank you all so much!

We are beginning to sell items from our apartment, and everything is starting to feel much more real! Our excitement is also growing -- what a privilege to take the gospel where it is little known. And how exciting to learn to adapt to a new culture and see life through a different lens!
